In January 2023, the MEI Foundation began the first project of the year with a donation to the pediatric ward at the Anuradhapura Base Hospital. We received a request for installing an Air conditioning unit in the HDU at the pediatric surgical ward. The A/C was purchased and handed over by the MEI Foundation representatives headed by the treasurer Haliha Hilluru during the site visit.
This donation was made with a hope that now onwards at least the torments of the heat will be one less struggle that these little children will not have to face amidst the hundreds of other battles they face everyday.
